Embedded Innovation at Embedded World fair in Nuremberg
Beginning of 2007 Nuremberg will be the meeting point of the international Embedded Community when the embedded eorld 2007 opens its doors from February 13 – 15. Here, at the worldwide largest event for embedded technologies the experts of the branch meet for the exchange of experiences. Ground-breaking RFID Technology at Embedded Innovation
Since June 2006 Embedded Innovation is the official, authorised VAR (Value Added Reseller) of Power Paper for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The PowerID technology is the first semi-passive RFID System of its kind and offers maximum reliability and large reading range simultaneously. By the integration of the patented, printable power source from Power Paper the PowerID UHF-Smart-Labels reach peak of reliability and functionality as compared to conventional, passive RFID systems. By this means, now considerable cost savings i.e. in Supply Chain Management and Logistics are possible. Due to the environment-friendly, extremely thin batteries, the need for gaining energy from the reader signal is not applicable any more. Embedded Innovation at Midvision 2006
On June 21, 2006 at 9 a.m. Midvision 2006 opens in South Germany - the leading trade fair for IT solutions for medium-sized businesses. Midvision is divided into the following main topics: BPM (Business Process Management), CRM (Costumer Relationship Management), ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and IT security. Complementary the IT branch forum arranges a conference where IT topics are addressed through professional lectures and roundtables of discussions. The lectures at the IT branch forum focus on the sectors Automotive, Metal and Electrical Indusries. On June 22, the IT branch forum Automotive takes place at the trade forum where EMBEDDED INNOVATION (represented by Mr. Michael Wack as Managing Associate) gives a lecture on "Embedded Systems" followed by a discussion with you. Embedded Innovation is member of Commercial Vehicle Cluster…
Within Europe Germany is the most important manufacturing country for commercial vehicles. Especially in the south west a high concentration of manufacturing sites and suppliers are to be found. These facts induced the Technical University (TU) of Kaiserslautern, Daimler Chrysler (DC) and the ministry of commerce of Rheinland-Pfalz (Rhineland-Palatinate) to found the Commercial Vehicle Cluster (CVC) as a network of manufacturers, suppliers and service enterprises end of 2005 EMBEDDED INNOVATION will bring their competencies from the automotive area into the various project groups, Mr. Michael Wack (managing director of EMBEDDED INNOVATION) disclosed. Mr. Wack sees the chance to increase the competitive position also in the commercial vehicle sector. Consequently, EMBEDDED INNOVATION has been a member of CVC since May 2006.

Automotive SPICE™ - Official Launch Event in Munich
More than 150 people participated in the official introduction of Automotive SPICE™ in Munich. The largest car manufacturers paved the way for Automotive SPICE™ within the scope of the Automotive Special Interest Group (SIG). Automotive SPICE™ is a framework for the assessment of suppliers in the automotive industry. It is based on the ISO/IEC 15504 (SPiCE) international standard. Through the publication of the ISO/IEC 15504 series of standards for process assessment and the availability of Automotive SPICE™, the industry now disposes of an official and accepted standard as well as a maturity degree model to conduct assessments. The members of SIG are Audi, BMW, Fiat, Ford, Jaguar, Land Rover, Porsche, Volkswagen, Volvo and others. The program of the official launch event was filled by known representants of the major car manufacturers. On this occasion they not only gave information about their respective business policies but also about supplier assessments and the further development of SIG Beyond that, also the link to other standards like CMM or IEC 61508 was pointed out. The participation of EMBEDDED INNOVATION in this event was the logical consequence to be up-to-date on the state of engineering and keep our customers informed. Telematics Box with PINCAR AG, Ludwigshafen
EMBEDDED INNOVATION has agreed with PINCAR AG on a cooperation for the development of a Telematics Box. PINCAR offers their customers a worldwide patented vehicle management system based on telematics. With customised system solutions PINCAR offers a wide range of services, e.g. for vehicle fleets of leasing companies as well as car rental agencies. Apart from other advantages, the employment of the PINCAR Suite leads to significant cost saving potentials. Amongst others, the innovative communication product ESCAN-HIS-100 is employed. SPICE (ISO 15504) with Embedded Innovation!
